You’ll get 2 emails: Your booking confirmation and about 5 minutes before your first booking starts: an email from Salto KS with your digital door key.

Steps to enter

  1. Download and install the KS Keychain app onto your smartphone (App Store / Google Play).
  2. Sign up with the same email you used for your booking
  3. At the door: hold your smartphone flat against the lock and keep holding tapped until the green light blinks. Make sure Bluetooth is on.

  • Kickstarter Desk = Day Pass. Adjustable VITRA desk + chair, Dell screen with USB-C power, HighRise & simple mousepad. Your ready-to-go setup. Book once, come and go anytime between 06:00–22:00. The desk is yours for the whole day.
  • Quiet(er) Desk = Day Pass. Design desk + VITRA chair, Samsung curved monitor (USB-C), HighRise, simple mousepad, plus wireless keyboard & mouse. Premium vibe, limited availability. Book once, come and go anytime between 06:00–22:00. The desk is yours for the whole day.
  • Hot Desk = Flexible. Bare desk + VITRA chair. Bring your own gear, max flexibility. Book in 2+ hour slots, anytime from 06:00–22:00. Perfect if you just need a few hours.
  • Phone Box - Cozy booth with Apple TV & AirPlay. Perfect for digital calls or 1:1s.
  • Meeting Room - Table for 6, whiteboard & TV (AirPlay). Ideal for team sessions or client meets.
  • Workshop Space (Basement) - Exclusive-use creative zone. Modular setup (desks, tables, poufs), whiteboard wall, projector & screen, dedicated wardrobe & bathrooms.
  • Executive Office - Sliding doors, Alpine views, 2 premium desks (Samsung curved screens), pouf table & lounge/library. Boss-mode space for small teams or strategy days.
Every booking gives you access to our shared kitchen (coffee, tea, water, snacks), lounges and sunny outdoor deck (spring–autumn). Desk setups differ by type:
  • Kickstarter Desk → USB-C screen, HighRise, mousepad.
  • Hot Desk → clean, bare desk.
  • Quiet(er) Desk → curved USB-C screen, HighRise, wireless mouse + keyboard.
  • Whiteboards = only with meeting spaces.
  • Printer/scanner = included, up to 20 pages.
Always bring your laptop, charger & headphones. For Kickstarter/Hot Desks, also bring your own keyboard/mouse if you want to use the monitor.

Desks → book up to 7 days ahead, cancel up to 1 day before. Non refundable.
Rooms → book 3–10 days ahead, cancel up to 3 days before. Non refundable.

All bookings are prepaid, no refunds.
Why? We keep it lean: first-come-first-serve, no memberships, no forever desks. You decide last minute if you’re coming, we guarantee your spot. That way the space stays fair, fluid and alive.

Nope — all passes and digital keys are personal. Guests need their own booking.

Exception:
If you book a meeting room, exclusive use of executive office, phone box or workshop space, you can invite guests for that booking only. Desk bookings = solo use.

Yes, WiFi is included with every booking. Simply log in to the Optix app using the same email and password you booked with — you’ll find the WiFi credentials under Home → General Info.

SPOT.BASE is fully open-space. Buzzing, Creative, Alive. For quiet(er) moments or calls: use headphones + book the Phone Box, Meeting Room or Executive Office.

Street parking is available on Via Maistra (below SPOT.BASE) or at the Quadrellas Garage near Schulhausplatz (3–4 minutes’ walk). There’s no storage, mail handling or bike parking on site. We keep it lean, so travel light.
